Like yesterday, even today we had been advised to stay in side the dhaba. It's the worst weather condition outside, I have ever seen in my life. Initially it was a bad storm followed by a heavy rain since 4 o' clock. Everyone just got scared the way the storm approached. Immediately the locals got conscious and did all the necessary arrangements to protect their dhabas. In fact they had never seen such a bad storm before and the arrangements looked so unplanned. The best thing happened, out of all these is the double; no triple rainbow. And that was something, we had never experienced in our life time. We were pretty much aware of the situation today, but for me and Santhosh the rainbow became more important. Suddenly we ignored every other risk and in spite of several warnings from Vijesh and dhaba owner, we stepped out of the dhaba to witness the mighty storm and in fact the very beautiful rainbow. It was quite stupid, but everybody else got a confidence to experience the same later.

I am with camera to capture the rainbow

Yesterday we slept early, thinking to start by 2 o' clock in the morning. But it was 5 AM, when we woke up and the very fast comment passed by the dhaba owner was "App Logon Ke Do Baj Gaye?" (Is it 2 AM for you guys?). And it was a part of preveous day argument with the dhaba owner about the start time for this morning. In spite of all those advice, we were very strict to start at 2 AM. We were late and more over annoyed, so with out any further delay we made a start.

The biker we met at Darcha
It was freezing cold, windy and as usual blood started dripping from my nose. The best that I could do to cover my entire face with the balaclava to prevent direct cold wind to enter into my nose. It was stiff and bad roads with fine sand and gravels, but the landscapes on each turn never let us feel the pain. With the hope to see the sun on the sky, we reached the first water crossing. It was huge and lot of water flowing over the road. I was just imagining, what would be the situation in the afternoon when the show will be melting.

Same again

Some bad roads
It was quite scary for us to see the volume and current of the stream; more over it was difficult to step inside that freezing water. Sonthosh went first and crossed it with out any difficulty. Same thing happened for Vijesh too. I was candidate who almost washed off by the stream. Thanks to Santhosh and couple of biker, who dragged me and my cycle from the edge of the road. Lucky enough to get survived. Later we helped few biker to cross the stream. We crossed one more stream before, we reach Deepak Tal to have our breakfast. I can not explain the beauty of that land scape with snow caped mountains, a crystal clear lake with a blue reflection of the sky. I just felt as if this is the faced to heaven.

On the way to Patsio

On the way to Patsio
We crossed Patsio, the army camp and reached Zing Zing Bar at around 12 O' clock. And surprisingly there was no bar. Now why some one named it a Bar?? From Zing Zing bar we took a off road, which suppose to be the short cut some Kilometers, but It was a bad option. We could not able to ride and we had to pull our cycles. We were gaining altitude so fast and loosing all our energy.

Time to take some rest

From Zing Zing Bar, we had climbed another 10 KM to reach the Baralacha Base. We though of pitching the tent, but yesterdays' experience made us to wait till 6 PM to see the weather condition. And we are quite lucky that we did not pitch the tent today.
